Hello-
I am working on redesigning OOB access. Currently in our datacenters we have old routers setup as reverse telnet with analog line 20 nodes connected to the reverse telnet router.
during a discussion it was mentioned that reverse telnet is a single point of failure. I personally think any thing
All you engineers out there if you can share some ideas or setup you have that is being used with today's technology and any vendor recommendations. we are looking at Port Authority and WTI. something that would include power modules so we dont have to replace the whole thing if something breaks with the power.

I believe these Cisco PN's would suffice.
Cisco ISR 4331
Cisco NIM-24A
CAB-ASYNC-8
Cisco 4000 Interfaces and Modules
Installing the Cisco Asynchronous Serial NIM - 16/24 Port for Cisco 4000 Series ISRs

Thanks Tim. I am thinking more along the lines to have all datacenters OOB management centrally managed.
