copying config into routers via putty

When logging in remotely using putty, port 22, everything is fine until I need to paste a configuration into the config. Basically the first character getrs cut off and the only way I have figured out to get around this is to put a space before everyline prior to copying.

Has anyone had this issue before, i know its not a major thing, but when it comes to large configs and adding a space to every line it gets tiresome...

thanks a lot

Hello,

which OS are you running putty on ? Doing the same thing as you described on my XP workstation, I cannot replicate that problem...can you post the output of 'show terminal' from the router where you are trying to paste to ? I can compare that to the terminal settings of my router, maybe there is something different...

Regards,

GP
