My customer want a PRI backup for some of their site, we're planning to put one router in our cloud for them to dial whenever their line failed. I've gone through the AS5400 and found its quite expensive, what i need is a total of 8PRI line, will a 3845 with 4 units of NM-2CE1T1-PRI do the same job as the AS5400?
What kind of IOS shall I need in order to run it with PRI backup? I've gone through Cisco 2611XM whereby some of the IOS does not even detect the PRI module...but the main point is, what's the main selling point of AS5400 compare to a Cisco 38xx series with proper module installed?
