Has anyone experienced problems using DirectTV and Cisco VPN?

I'd like to know of any problems you have resolved since we have one case where the client gets disconnected every 20 mins.

I have a similar sporadic problem with a user on satellite. (I assume you meant the sat. service) Try making the MTU smaller. If it is every 20 mins exactly you might need to wrangle DirecTV to be honest about whatever happens every 20 minutes on the connection. They won't fess up at first if it is them but keep plugging away.

I had a similar problem with a user. I was running IPSec with digital certificates over satellite. I put the user on PPTP and his performance was much better. Response time using IPSec was very poor, but with PPTP he was getting close to the 400Mbps from his satellite.
