Can anyone offer any doc on setting up a home network using 1601R or 2501 and a 1924C to my home dsl modem? Any doc or instructions on flow or configs would be helpful.Perhaps there is another solution as well?

First you need to know what type of DSL connection you have from provider. It can be PPPoE, PPPoA, or RFC 1483 Brigding etc..After that you need to know PVC value assigned to your dsl modem.
If you have PPPoE and pvc information, you can use following link which talks about "how to configure cisco router behind non-cisco DSL modem" in detail with configuration etc..

Thanks, thats what I was looking for. I use a PPPoE client and the SP's DSL modem. I wanted to try using my home equip (two 2501's, one 1601R, one 1924) first before buying a Linksys dsl router as I have to accomodate 4 hosts.
I'll have to check on the images I have to see if they'll support these connections.
