Enabling IPSEC Tunnels

I have a Unix Director running nrDirector 2.2.3(S28) which remotely manages and monitors multiple sensors all running SigUpdate 3.1(2)S28.

Can I enable IPSEC between my director and select sensors or is it an all or none proposition?

You can select which sensors to communicate with using IPSEC.

For Example:

Your director can communicate unencrypted to sensors deployed locally and through IPSEC for sensors deployed remotely communicating over internet connections.

NOTE: When configuring IPSEC use the sysconfig-sensor option for secure communications rather than going through and trying to setup it up through IDM (web based management on the sensor).
