Error Connecting to AnyConnect

jf1134

Level 1

I just setup a new ASAv in Azure and getting an error when trying to connect using the AnyConnect client. When I go to the web URL, I am able to login.

The error is Login denied, unauthorize connection mechanism.
I am using the FQDN in AnyConnect to connect.

Config:

You have configured a group-alias "ASI-Support" under the tunnel-group ASI-Support, this requires you enable the tunnel-group-list globally under the webvpn (which it currently is not).

Configure as below:-

webvpn
tunnel-group-list enable

Without it you are connecting to the default tunnel-group, which uses the default group policy - and the error you receive is because ssl is not enabled as default under the default group policy.

Also, I assume you are intending of using LOCAL for the primary authentication-server-group (which is why it's not displayed in the running config)? ...so why do you need a secondary authentication server of LOCAL as well?

Thanks. I could have sworn I did that but guess not.

Yeah, I am just setting it up for Local right now to make sure it works until I can setup SSO with Entra ID

sorry I know it old post but it SSO why you want secondary authc?
can you elaborate

Thanks
