I have a client trying to install the Cisco VPN Client (version 5 - for Windows 7) on a laptop that has an Intel i3 processor. The client has been installed on other Win7 systems with no problem but when he installs on this system he gets the following error:
This installation package is not supported by this processor type. Contact your product vendor.
Any ideas as to why the install isn't working? Thanks.

Thanks for the response, I was beginning to wonder if anyone would reply! I should have mentioned in my original post that the VPN is
configured on a PIX 506e, not exactly the newest piece of equipment out there. Will the AnyConnect client work with that older PIX?

No the PIX doesn't support the Any Connect client . Check this link out.

Incorrect. VPN Clist is supported and works fine on Windows 7 64bits.
