Exchange/SQL Server access through VPN

We have a PIX-515 which I connect to over the Internet via Microsoft's VPN adapter (PPTP) on my notebook running Win2k. I can access most of the resources (telnet to Unix server, and access files on file server) directly by IP address which is fine. I am unable to connect to the exchange server or our SQL server remotely, although I don't have a problem when I'm in the office with my notebook.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Greg.

I would migrate to IPSec if you can. Both from a reliability and compatibility standpoint. If you are terminating PPTP at the PIX outside interface, then NATting, you might be running into some NAT issues. MS Netbios doesn’t do well with NAT (although there are workarounds (see http://www.cisco.com/warp/customer/110/pixfaq.shtml#Q21). I don’t think MS-SQL can be natted at all.
