Hi Expert,
i understand GRE Tunnel is not secure, because the ipv4 header is not encryption
but does igp travel to destination, provide security ? i mean encryption ?

@Thomas Leong they aren't really comparable. A GRE tunnel encapsulates data and an IGP (OSPF/RIP) is routing protocol. If you want to encrypt both GRE and an IGP you run these over an IPSec tunnel. Therefore all traffic sent over the IPSec tunnel will be encrypted and secure.
