hi, I am trying to install "anyconnect-win-4.10.01075-core-vpn-webdeploy-k9.msi", but it keeps failing with:

"There is a problem with this Windows Installer package..."

I was not able to find any solutions that works. I can see many errors in windows logger :

This issue might actually be fixed in the 4.10.02086.  Microsoft has deprecated some SHA1 certificates that are used for code signing the AnyConnect driver.  Please try the latest available release on Cisco.com.

Hi,

try 'run as administrator' to start installation file.

Please rate this and mark as solution/answer, if this resolved your issue
Good luck

Thanks KB, but already tried that with same results.

First, you are trying to install the Web deploy package.  This package is meant for deployment from ASA or ISE, not locally on the PC.  You should be using the package with "pre-deploy" in the name.  Second, is this an upgrade of a previous install?  If so what modules did you have installed before the upgrade? Also, can you attach the setupapi.dev.log file from C:\Windows\INF\

Hi stsargen, actually this is the file we got from our company which other people are installing with no issues.

In any case I have just tried to install "anyconnect-win-4.10.01075-core-vpn-predeploy-k9.msi" with exact same results.

This is an installation, but I may had a Cisco VPN client in the past which was uninstalled (I don't recall if it was on this laptop or my previous one).

Attaching the log as requested.
