gre tunnel

Dear all,

I m trying to make the vpn session using mGRE tunnel between cisco 891/k9 and 1841 router.. there is the fixed ip add with the

1841 router, and another one doesnt have the static ip from the ISP, In this case, im going to use  DMVPN, The problem is , after

completing the configuration, the tunnel inteface of the 1841 router will be seen like this.

status: reset

protocol: down

What my be the reson of the problem. if there is any materials regarding this matter, please all of you requested to send it to me on sapkota.hari006@gmail.com

Hi,

Could you post the 1841 configuration. One of the reasons that a mGRE tunnel interface can be in a reset/down state is that, you may have an nhrp mapping entry pointing to your own tunnel interface. It's something worth checking.
