I'm trying to setup l2tpv3 with the information on this page.
http://www.networkworld.com/community/node/26272.
When I assign an IP to both fasteth interfaces, I get this error when I assign xconnect to them. "Incompatible with ip address command on fasteth2/0"
If I make both interfaces with unassigned IP's, I do not get the error, but the tunnel is not up.
When configuring l2tpv3, do the interfaces need an IP? I understand you need to setup a loopback, which I did.

Ok it looks like I got the tunnel up from help on this page.

But i'm still confused on if you're supposed to assign the interfaces IP addresses or not. I can't ping across the tunnel
