We can establish a VPN tunnel between a Cisco VPN 3030 (sw v4.0) and a Nortel Contivity (Extranet Switch 1700 with S/w Ver: V04_80.124) if the tunnel is initiated from the Nortel box. If the Cisco starts the VPN tunnel then we get the following in the Cisco 3030:
non-routine Notify message: Invalid ID info (18)
I've been advised by the Nortel to disable the vendor ID in the Cisco but can't find it.
Any help with any of the above is greatly appreciated.

Hi Darius. As per my info, for concentrator to Contivity VPN to work, the vendor ID checking needs to be disabled on the Nortel box. Additionally, PFS group 2 checking needs to be disabled too. Please could you cross-check this.
