How secure is the Win2k IPSEC with PIX?

Hi,

my customer ask me about the win2k VPN connection with PIX. As far I know, no problem, using IPSEC. But, does the Win2k support 3DES encryption with PIX?

Hi Alexandre,

If the Win2K machine can send 3DES proposals, the PIX shouldn't have a prblem with it connecting. As for it being secure, its as secure as any 3DES connection which is considerably secure.
