I can't connect my Lan to Internet with Cisco SRP547W

Hello,

I am writing this message on the forum because I get some difficulties to configure the Cisco SRP547W. With another router (other brand) I do not have any problems. The SRP547W can contact Internet (ping OK  for the 1st gateway or Google website), but I can’t ping any of them  from my Lan. In fact the only thing I can ping from my Lan are SRP547W interfaces (Lan and DSL).

The routing table is     :

Network

Gateway

12.12.12.0

255.255.255.0

255.0.0.0

The Nat is inactive. I create a rule on the firewall which permits everything. I tried to add new static routes with the Ip address of the gateway but without success (the gateway 12.12.12.1 is active in the DHCP configuration). I should have missed something….

First of all, you need to be certain the provider has given the range of 12.12.12.0 (public ip space) to you.

Probably this is not the case and then you must use a private ip range (192.168 for example) with nat.

Regarding the routing: The device needs a default route, not the inside hosts.
