Input is not a well-formed, schema-complaint XML file. AnyConnect CP

Hi Everyone,

I am configuring AnyConnect VPN and getting a strange error am not able to identify the root cause and resolution.

In AnyConnect Client Profile > When I click on edit, it gives below error:

Error: Input is not a well-formed, schema-complaint XML file. Invalid or unknown schema.

I have already checked the compatibility of ASA Version with ASDM (both are compatible to each other), here is the reference as well:
ASA1v(config)# show asdm image
Device Manager image file, boot:/asdm-79247.bin
!
ASA1v(config)# show version
Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance Software Version 9.9(2)32
Firepower Extensible Operating System Version 2.3(1.121)

Can I get some help, how to resolve this problem?

@Juni I would guess the XML formatting of your configuration file are not correct, so cannot be read and editing. Either create a new XML profile using the profile editor or check the formatting of the existing file and amend.

Thank you for replying to it, do know a specific document referring to this troubleshooting?
I have created another problem and it is the same error, I would like to know about the editing way of the existing XML, if you can guide a little.

@Juni you can use https://xmlgrid.net/ and paste the contents of your XML profile and it will confirm if the formatting is correct. You can also download the AnyConnect/Secure Client Profile Editor and use that instead of editing using ASDM. If the same XML file is fine using the Profile Editor, then it could be a problem editing within ASDM.
