IOS IPsec VPN using self signed certificates

Hi, can anyone point me to a good Cisco doc explaining how to build an IPsec VPN tunnel between two routers using self signed certificates?

I am looking for some background on this and configurations.

Converted it to standard VPN configig using a crypto map, works nicely.
