I have VPN 3030 server for remote access IPSec. Our media-group would like me to configure our VPN 3030 so remote user can receive multicast streaming?
Please let me know, if it is possible to configure my vpn3030 multicast (igmp)?

The IPSEC protocol (as it was designed) doesn't encapsulate MULTICAST traffic. It only
encapsulates UNICAST.
VPN 3000 does not support igmp.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks

I learn little more last night after I posted this question that IPSEC won't do MULTICAST, but didn't know about IGMP and VPN 3030.
Although, I was told I can just have a filter/rule that will allow IGMP and will pass that traffic in UNICAST. From what you are saying, I can't do that either, correct?
Thanks,
Jayesh

Jayesh,
Only if Unicast traffic is received, we will pass it through but if it is multicast, then no.
Thanks
Gilbert
