Please be so kind to advise about the problem I got. I am trying to set up an ISDN connection to remote office. So I connect my router ISDN BRI S/T interface to NT1 ISDN jack and then line goes to telco. The BRI interface is:
Router#sh int bri 0/0/0
BRI0/0/0 is up, line protocol is down (spoofing)
Hardware is Voice NT or TE BRI
....
And the output of debug isdn q921 is like this:
*Oct 5 20:46:03.999: ISDN BR0/0/0 Q921: User TX -> IDREQ ri=86 ai=127
*Oct 5 20:46:04.019: ISDN BR0/0/0 Q921: User RX <- IDASSN ri=86 ai=112
*Oct 5 20:46:04.019: ISDN BR0/0/0 Q921: L2_EstablishDataLink: sending SABME
*Oct 5 20:46:04.019: ISDN BR0/0/0 Q921: User TX -> SABMEp sapi=0 tei=112
*Oct 5 20:46:04.035: ISDN BR0/0/0 Q921: User RX <- UAf sapi=0 tei=112
*Oct 5 20:46:04.035: %ISDN-6-LAYER2UP: Layer 2 for Interface BR0/0/0, TEI 112 changed to up
*Oct 5 20:46:14.035: ISDN BR0/0/0 Q921: User TX -> RRp sapi=0 tei=112 nr=0
*Oct 5 20:46:14.047: ISDN BR0/0/0 Q921: User RX <- RRf sapi=0 tei=112 nr=0
*Oct 5 20:46:19.151: ISDN BR0/0/0 Q921: User RX <- DISCp sapi=0 tei=112
*Oct 5 20:46:19.151: %ISDN-6-LAYER2DOWN: Layer 2 for Interface BR0/0/0, TEI 112 changed to down
So every time after 10 - 15 seconds of some activity I come to DEACTIVATED status.
Is this my problem or more likely on the telco side??
Thanx

Are you sure that you have configured the isdn switch type correctly?
