HI,

we are using ISDN as a back up.It has been working fine.But all of sudden ISDN start to stop functioning in some of ISDN line.And we came to know that Telecom (provider) where they have Switching Alcatel A1000 system arises this kind of problem.I am using WIC-1B-U-V2.and is shows the physical layer deactivate...

Please help me what may be the proble..

and onething it is working fine from the PC..Only problem shows in cisco router with ISDN card

Well if the show isdn status is showing your layer 1 as deactivated. The problem does lie with your telco. Probably ask him to do a testing of the line. Also your could check if the cables are good. What is the ISDN switch type you have given on your router? If it has been working fine there is no problem in your side, ask the telco to check.
