L2L vpn problem initiating tunnel from remote side

I have a L2L tunnel created between my ASA5520 and a partner's vpn device. The tunnel will come up as long a host on my side generates interesting traffic. Problem is, a host at the remote end cannot bring up the tunnel. What could be wrong? Any ideas?
