latency through ipsec vpn site tunnel

I have an asa 5510 that has many(17)ipsec vpn site tunnels on it.  One of the tunnels, one running to a c1900isr at the other end, is experiencing 400 to 500ms latency through it.  It does appear to be the tunnel only because there is no latency to the internet.  I cleared the tunnel group out and readded it to no effect.  isp says everything fine.  any other known causes for this

As there are no issues with other tunnels head end may not be the issue. Did you check on the 1900 end for any Layer1 issues (cable, crc errors etc)? How is the internet speed looks like? Did you try to download directly from internet than VPN?

There has been no cable change for some time.  The internet speed is 50mb down and 1mb up(subscribed speed is 10up)so there may be an issue there but isp says everything great on their end.  will check for errors.
