Local Printing with VPN client

I have a few users working from home that need to be able to print to their home network printers while connected to our corporate site with the VPN client. Is this possible or are we going to have to deploy pix's to allow this to happen?

Should be possible using split tunneling. This might conflict with your security policy though. What split tunneling basically does is that it explicitly defines the destination networks to whom traffic is sent via the encrpted tunnel. All other traffic is sent using the client's network adapter, be it destined to the client's local LAN or the internet.

This can be achieved by checking the "Allow Local LAN Access" feature on the VPN Client[under Options -Properties - Transport]. This enables the user to view PCs/printers at home while connected through VPN to corporate network.

However, I have noticed that this only works for printers directly connected to the user PC and no the local LAN. Has anyone else experienced this before?

We have so far never found a solution to this. Once the client connects all connection to local LAN is cut off. Even tried useing multiple NICs to no success.
