log mac address of the connecting Cisco vpn clients?

I have a request from our security team, can I configure our asa's/3'ks to log the mac address of our laptops connecting w/ Cisco vpn client?

The ASA can not be configured for this also the vpn client mac address can not be logged until the tunnel is established. Once the tunnel is established you can use any suitable application for this.
