We are running a PIX 515 and win 2000 AD. The VPN we setup needs users logon using a VPN logon ID and password and then using their NT logon IDs and passwords to logon the network. Can we setup the PIX so that users can just use their NT logon IDs and passwords to logon both VPN and NT?
After searching cisco web, I think that we may need use RADIUS to accomplish it. But except PIX and win 2000, do we need any software or hardware, and how to do it?
Thank you.

Hi Bob,
Windows 2000 has Micosoft Radius server build-in. So you do not need any further software of hardware to do the simple authentication stuff, please check following URL:

Thank you for help. I have a few more questions.
1. Do we need Cisco VPN Cleint 3.5? We are using MS VPN at this time.
2. If I am configuring RADIUS or after setup RADIUS, can our users still be able to logon as before (using pre-set VPN logon ID and password)? I do not want to inteerupt VPN users' jobs.
