Hello all,
We are currently deploying a new IPSec VPN solution to our customer base. Through this they can access their local office from home out of hours, so a typical VPN solution.
The issue I have is that we support over 1,200 sites, some of which might be grouped into larger units, so I can allocate a large /24 IP pool for them and others which might consist of a single office, which typically we allocate a single /29 IP pool to. Of the single office type we have over 600 sites, most of which have so far not requested VPN access.
So my question is how many IP pools can be configured on a Cisco ASA 5540?
Many Thanks,
Mike.

Mike,
AFAIU we do not resitrict amount of local pools, I've never had to deal with this limitation.
We do restrict amount of tunnel groups, though.

Marcin,
Thanks for your response. I thought this was the case, but could find no proof one way of the other.
Many Thanks,
Mike.
