Migration of ASA from 5500 to 5500x

Hello, we want to migrate configuration from ASA 5540 to 5555x. but I can not find any info for it after searching internet or cisco website. Any experts can give some suggestion or send me a link ? Thank you

What version of configuration is running on your 5540? The hardware is different, but the configuration is pretty much the same from my experience as long as you're on 8.6 or later in the 5540.

Thanks for your reply. The ASA5540 version is 8.4 and ASA5555x is 9.x. so we do not need to take care of nat configuration, right ? But there are a lot l2l vpn and ssl vpn there.

Were you successful doing this?  I'm facing deploying new 5525-x with 9.6(2) to replace EoL 5540 on version 9.1(5).  I would think a simple backup of current 5540, and then an import (restore) on the new platform would work.  Searching for documentation to back up my assumptions.
