Hi guys,
I'm trying to get multicast traffic over a back to back vpn,the vpn connection with tunnel interfaces is working and up... (unicast traffic is doing fine)
Now i tried to send multicast traffic over the link... I also configured EIGRP protocol (that also uses multicast hello packets)
This is working... I get updates..
Now i tried to send multicast traffic from client to client that are behind these routers.. I also configured
Ip multicast-routing and on all the interfaces ip pim sense-mode however... No multicast traffic from client to client..
What can be wrong? Or do i need some configuration more??
Thankssss

Thanks for you're reply..
Looks like the ip pim sparse-mode will be enough to let the multicast traffic go to the client.
I tried this already but not working somehow..
The show ip igmp groups looks also be fine... I can see the 239.255.100.100 ip active
And also see the wihtin the show ip mroute also the 239.255.100.100
Any idea's left?

nobody experience with multicast traffic??

Ok... so i did a different test..
just use 1 router with 2 vlan's and 2 pc's....1 is streaming with vlc and the other one is trying to play it..
(works normally just fine on the subnet)
still see nothing.. i enabled both interface vlan's with the command ip pim sparse-dense mode and the global command
ip multicast-routing
im multicating on address:239.255.100.100:5004
when i first (before i stream) do a show ip mroute i see:

the only strange thing is the incmoing interface is still tunnel0 but the flags are SPF
when i start the stream it changed to:

the flags are now:SJCF
so looks like something is changing... alse the C of connected..
but still now stream playing..
how come??

Ok... i give up!!! nothing works no one can help...
Also i simple test with just one router with two interfaces and ip pim dense-mode doesn't work!!
can't find anything what could be configured wrong..... als with debug ip mpacket nothing...
only thing is when i do a ping to the multicast address i see traffic coming in... but not when i stream it..(i can see the stream on my wireshark trace) strange strange strange........
