New to VPN's

I am the Lan Admin for a small bank. We are currently running Netware for our network ,but are planning on migrating to WIN2000 soon. We are looking for a cost effective solution for a small VPN that would allow some of our staff to work from home or the field. This does not need to be a highly powerful solution, but we are mostly concerned about security.

What are the advantages/disadvantages of using a Microsoft VPN server over a Cisco VPN server?

We have both Microsoft and Cisco VPN. We will be phasing out Microsoft and moving over to Cisco Concentrator 3015. Cisco VPN allows both IPSEC and PPTP tunnels, while Microsoft only allows PPTP. Other feature of Cisco VPN is that you can set up split tunnelling, which saves company's bandwidth.

Also, Cisco VPN is a separate box, which does not run on top on NT, thus eliminating security holes and bugs associated with Microsoft.
