newbie telnet question

I have set up SSH so that I can access my two PIX 501's but when I try to create a user it doesn't seem to work. I have to use the default to get in. What am I doing wrong? I'm completely new to PIX so dumb it down for me. A nice list of commands I should enter would be nice :-)

Maybe you have a problem with SSH.

1) Enter in to console or telnet connection and create a user/password in PIX.

2) Using this Username and password, you can try with SSH.

3) In general SSH is always to allow in Admin mode.
