Not able to configure static IP on group-async interface

I want to give static ip to Group-Async interface on cisco 5300 , but it is not taking.The ios image on RAS is 12.3.10a.

The ios image file is c5300-js-mz.123-10a.bin(ENTERPRISE PLUS)

Your question is not quite clear, do you mean that you want to assign a specific static ip address to a specific user? If yes, try this:

interface group-asyn x

dialer map ip 1.1.1.1 name mak , where the user mak is to be assigned the satic ip address of 1.1.1.1.

Also ensure that the same ip address is not there in any other ip address pool.

Another way is to do thru AAA server.

I want to test RIP2 between Cisco RAS and Allied router, it is working when i am configuring async interfaces in RAS with different subnet but it is not working when i am configuring Group-async interface in Cisco RAS.The output of sh ip rip events and sh ip rip database says Ingnore version 2 updates from Allied router.Only one async 1 comes up and exchange RIP2 updates for rest Asycn interface comes up but RIP2 is not working.
