I have a PIX 506 at my main office and three pix 501's at 3 remote offices.
On of my remote offices had a roof leak and fry on of my 501's.
I have a txt copy of my configurations and I know how to upload the file to my replacement 501.
My question is what do I have to do with the isakmp key on my 506 and the new 501 to make it authenticate and build the tunnel when I bring the replacement up?
TIA

assuming pre-shared key is deployed with the vpn, then as long as the backup txt has the pre-shared key, no extra step would be required.
providing the key doesn't shown with the txt. the key can be retrieved by tftp the 506 current config to a tftp server. the txt created via tftp server will have the key as clear text.
