Using the straight forward VPN
Remote Access to VPN
Cisco Client 3.x or higher
Group Name & Preshared key (no cert)
EECA, Local
VPN pool configured
.....all standard stuff.
I can connect but I cannot access the internet.
Questions:
Why can't I see my network server? I can sort of map a drive by typing in \\myserve\shared folder
Why can't I get on the internet when connected to the VPN?
VPN client 5.0..07.0410
PDM 3.0.4
Pix 6.3.5
Thanks

Yes, you can modify it.
By the way, here is a good link about MS:

I can now get on the internet, because i enabled split tunneling.
I still can't see my network servers and printers in Windows Explorer, but I can access them if I type in \\server\folder, then login.
Any ideas

Hi Dennis,
Did you define a DNS and WINS server for this VPN group?
Have you tried to join the Windows domain before you check the MS neighborehood?
Thanks.

I'll try that thanks.
Can I add the Wins server without running the VPN wizard again?
Although, i think i did add the Wins server, but I'll try it.

That link is out of date. I'm not using Win 98 or ME.
I'm using Win 7 and Windows 2003 Server.
I'm so close, i just can't see my servers in Explorer.
Anyone else have answerrs?
