When I transfer the text of my old pix's configuration to a text file, the "isakmp key" doesn't come out, all I see is "*********". I am in the "config t" mode. Can you show me how. I have a full access of my old Pix506e. Thank you.
I believe that is how the Pix will display the isakmp key when you are attached to the device via either telnet/ssh or console. If you want to be able to see the isakmp key string, write the configuration to a tftp server and then look at that file.
