Pix 515 - removing static routes

All, We have some static routes that we are changing the IP Addresses on. We do issue the NO static (inside,outside) command, but seems we have to reboot the pix after making the change so that it knows to use the new static IP route to the outside interface. Is there a command that does this so we dont have to reboot the pix?

clear xlate

Oh, and these are static routes, a static route is something like...

route inside x.x.x.x x.x.x.x x.x.x.x

what do you mean by that? How does clear out old static routes that were changed to a new internal ip?

You called the following command a "static route"

static (inside,outside) etc....

That is not a "static route". That is a "static nat".

A "static route" is something like this...

route inside x.x.x.x x.x.x.x x.x.x.x

That's all I was trying to say.

clear xlate command used only for make new NAT transaltion changes imedialtely...no need to reboot PIX after changing any static route ..just change IP/route on pix and save it to flash memort by WR command and ur pix will follow new IP/Route for any further communication...pls let me know if any doubt u have on this. mention all things in details wt u want to know...i.e. about NAT or static route..............
