Hello all,
I recently configured a small PIX 506 firewall to terminate internet based remote on-demand client VPN connections (we are using the Cisco windows PC client software) and all is working well. Hovever, my customer would like to see a login welcome message like one would expect when connecting a VPN client to a VPN3000 box.
Any ideas if this is possible? How?
Thanks!

Check out configuring banners on pix at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/secursw/ps2120/products_configuration_guide_chapter09186a0080172797.html

The banners mentioned in the above post are only for CLI (console, ssh, etc) logins, not for VPN clients.

Exactly... the message we want will go to the VPN client after the client successfully connects to the PIX/VPN concentrator.

Hi Kale,
I am having the same necessity. Have you found a solution?

Paulo,
I haven't found a solution. I don't think it is possible with the PIX. We continue to run without the welcome messages.
