Hello,

Just a short and maybe easy question since i am not familiar with the technology:

Is there any standard/rfc other than the rfc for ppp , that defines the MTU/MRU of an IP datagtam for pppoa?

I'm asking since we have an argument here about the MTU setting (1500 bytes or not) for pppoa sessions between an ISP and a pppoa home clients.

Hi, there are no other standard beside the rfcs. The atm standards really don;t add anthing to what the rfc say. There is no problem having IP MTU to be 1500 with PPPoA.
