Hello!
I have the following scenario:
PPTP_Client(MS_WinXP) - ISA(MS) - ASA_5520 - PPTP_Server(MS_WinXP)
ISA_server is configured with routing and PPTP-passthrough aware, ASA is configured with PPTP_inspect and PAT.
And the problem is in subject.
But, PPTP established successfully in the following scenarios:
1. PPTP_Client(MS_WinXP) - ISA(MS) - PPTP_Server(MS_WinXP)
2. PPTP_Client(MS_WinXP) - ASA_5520 - PPTP_Server(MS_WinXP)
3. PPTP_Client(MS_WinXP) - ASA_5520 - ASA_5520-PPTP_Server(MS_WinXP) : double PAT in this case
4. PPTP_Client(MS_WinXP) - ISA(MS) - ISA(MS) - PPTP_Server(MS_WinXP) : ISAs either in routing or NAT modes.
When PPTP is'nt established it frozes on PPP LCP phase (PPTP_Client didn't respond to server).
Any suggestions are welcome..

Try to use the inspect pptp command on the ASA / PIX.

Thx, already used..
Bug is fixed in interrim release 7.2.(2.10)
PPTP-inspect doesn't alter Peer's call-id in all packets (specifically in PPTP-Set-link)
