Problem using WIC1ADSL Card in 2610 Router

Hi,

during the bootup of my Router I receive the following Error Message:

00:00:07: %PQUICC-1-UNKNOWN_WIC: PQUICC(0), WIC card has an unknown ID of 0x2E

I use the following IOS Version:

IOS (tm) C2600 Software (C2600-IS-M), Version 12.2(27)

Can anyone suggest me if it is a Problem with the IOS Version or Featureset or if the Hardware is damaged?

When it is the IOS Version or Featureset, which Version/Featureset do I need?

Hello Marcos,

try IOS software release IP Plus 12.2(13)T (e.g. c2600-is-mz.122-13.T16.bin), this should recognize the WIC.

now the Interface is running ;-)

But the status still remains down/down after connecting it to the splitter. I used "debug atm event" and I can see only the following:

Hi,

I had done some more research... Now I have a guess, what the Problem could be... I use ADSL over ISDN. The ADSL Card (WIC1ADSL) is connected to the splitter. I think I should use one WIC-1ADSL-I-DG Card, right?

Is it possible to configure the WIC1ADSL like an WIC-1ADSL-I-DG ?
