That comes up in searches but says nothing about an EOL (or end of support) for Anyconnect 4.8 client. Perhaps there isn't one.

AnyConnect 4.x is a single release train.  It will be supported until 4.x is EOL.  That said if you encounter issues on any release the fix will only be put in the next latest release.  Changes are not back ported to older releases.  Hope that helps.  If you are doing a new deployment I would NOT recommend 4.8.

This is something we are phasing out. It is being replaced with a different vendor. Still, it would be helpful to have the EOL dates for 4.x, as these things are never a simple shut off old, turn on new. We'll still have some people on old VPN for a while. No search result shows any sort of EOL for Anyconnect 4.x.

The hardware EOL is available but not the software.

We are still actively publishing 4.x release so the EOL date does not exist currently.  Once we are close something should be published.
