Hi,
The title pretty much says it all.
I would like to create a remote access from the outside to an IP on our Active Directory. Now, if the IP was configured on the router (DHCP or Static) I can create a remote access. However, if the IP resides on the AD the remote access does not work.
Assuming that the private IP on the AD is 192.168.0.1(host)
and the ISP is 1.1.1.1
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I am not clear what kind of remote access you are talking about. Is it a remote access VPN, or remote access for RDP, or for web access, or for SSH, or what?

If you want to enable some device from outside to RDP to a device in your network/on AD then you would set up port forwarding on your router. It is a translation so that any IP packet coming to your router with destination address of your router (1.1.1.1 in your post) and with destination port of RDP would be forwarded to the device in your network with address of 192.168.0.1.
Here is a link to a discussion about port forwarding which I hope will be helpful
