Hi

Iam planning to configure remote access vpn on PIX515 which is already being used for site to site VPN,using the same interface.Any precautions to be taken since this is being used in the live production

After configuring this remote access vpn,site-to-site vpn as well as remote access vpn shud be active from the same interface. Also Iam planning to use cisco vpn client ver 4.03c on the laptop & configure a group(on the pix--use vpngroup command) & assign a set of ip add & secret key for this group.Pl let me know ur view points

Thanks

SS

This application is fine for a couple of users, I've set up several PIX's this way using IPSec.

For more security and to make life easier handling more remote access clients I would recommend using a RADIUS server for the authentication.

One point that frequently comes up in this forum, you will not be able to connect in using the remote access client and connect to a site across the site to site VPN, the PIX will not currently allow this.
