Remote troubleshooting thru VPN

Folks

We hv networks spread over different locations & no remote access is possible for troubleshooting as of now.I wud like to use Ipsec VPN for establishing connectivity thru internet to troubleshoot as & when there is a need.

My question is shud I allow access to the whole of my network thru VPN for troubleshooting or allow access only to one m/c in my machine-cud be a windows based terminal server,and then access the other networks thru this machine.

If u hv any other way of doing this implementation,pl share it with me

as u hve mentioned in ur post itself taking the security concerns in mind just allow one to one communication which will not risk ur remote network to any kind of attacks from ur network (basically spoofed with ur networks ip)..
