Hi, i'm trying to set up a router cisco 1841 for a company that i work, i don't have a rj45 to serial port cable nor the other type of cable (DB9), is it possible to configure the router with a rj45 to rj45 cable?

I am not sure that I am correctly understanding your question. It seems to be asking if you can access the console port of an 1841 router using a standard Ethernet cable. Are you suggesting connecting the rj45 cable to the Ethernet port of your PC? That will not work because the 1841 console is expecting a serial connection rather than a network connection. If I am not understanding something please clarify.

Hello!
In order to open the console of the device you have to use the console cable, if the device has a management IP address you can access to it using ssh or telnet conexion trought the network. But if the device is without any configuration is madatory to use the console cable.
