Running IPX with Router with FW and VPN Feature Set

Hi,

i've a senerio whereby my client wld like to have firewalling for their IP traffic and VPN over to their HQ. However, they also have some IPX traffic. Can we run a separate GRE tunnel for those IPX traffic? How aabout the firewall enforcement, how can we bypass IPX traffic on the router?

Hi Robin,

You can definately run a seperate GRE tunnel, from the existing IPSec setup. As for the IOS firewall you can allow the GRE traffic for it to run smoothly in this case.
