site-site VPN licence

Hi Gents,

Need little help, We have ordered a pair of Cisco ASA5520 (ASA5520-BUN-K9).Now there is a requirement to terminate site-to-site VPN from remote site. Do we need VPN plus licence for this and how much it cost?

Support for establishment of site-site VPN is included in the ASA base license.

I'd recommend you start out running the current ASA software version 8.4(3) if you're building a new system.

As an aside, did you buy these at a discount? I ask because the ASA 5525X is the newer and much more capable model offered at almost the same list price. Reference
