I have a client that currently has a Cisco ASA 5510 that works perfectly, they recently purchased a 5512 to replace it. The 5512 has been in production for a few months and then yesterday the VPN speed using the Cisco VPN client just went to crap.
They currently have a 100/100 fiber connection and the fastest transfer speed I've been able to get is between 120-360KBps on the 5512 while on the 5510 I can easily get 5MBps throughput... This only became an issue yesterday and I can't figure out why, I've completely rebuilt the 5512 from scratch and still receive horribly horrible throughput
The device is only acting as a VPN router at the moment, we've swapped cables on both the LAN and WAN ports and even changed the connectivity on the LAN and WAN ports on the switches, I'm at a loss right now
