SSH and telnet hanging over ipsec tunnel.

Hello,

I have a site to site tunnel (ipsec) between a 1800 and 871, all is working well with the tunnel except when i try to ssh from one side linux box to the other side linux box, the ssh session hangs on me right after the prompt.

I am also able to telnet over the same server and tunnel, but when i do a LS command on the linux on a large folder the session hangs.

very strange as all other traffic is working with not problems.

Any ideas guys?

You might be having MTU issues. Try configuring "ip tcp adjust-mss 1380" on LAN interface on both sides.
