I am currently experiencing an issue whereby I am able to connect to the SSL VPN service with no issue.
When launching an rdp:// connection, the following happens:
>Windows Remote Desktop Connection dialog box pops up warning "A website wants to start a remote connection"
>Java SSL Port Forwarder plugin Install dialog box pops up with "Install" or "Cancel" Options
If I select the "Install" option - everything seems to sit there loading.
If I opt to hit the "Connect" button on the Remote Desktop dialog box (to use the ActiveX control - preferred method) the SSL VPN goes back to the home page.
I have done the following:
>Added our SSL VPN site to the "Intranet" zone to allow least resistence for installing/running ActiveX and Java
>Checked the relevant path and can see that the cscopf.ocx and cscopf.inf files have downloaded
>Have re-registered the cscopf.ocx (regsvr command)
Nothing seems to get the RDP client to connect. Does anybody have any experience of similar issues? Any help much appreciated.
